The 36th edition of the CSI will be held in Budapest at the Chemistry Institute of the Eötvös University. The Congress Center of the Eötvös University was founded in 1998.
Hungary has a temperate continental climate. Usual late summer daytime temperatures are about 25-30 °C, with occasional showers.
Budapest International Airport Ferihegy (Terminal 1, 2A and 2B) are about 20 km from the city centre. Budapest is connected to all major cities by daily flights. The city centre can be reached easily by Ferihegy Airport minibuses available at all terminals.
Frequent and convenient train connections to Budapest are also available in all major European cities. You can also choose to come by car using one of the highways that connect Budapest with neighboring countries.
