CSI Award, sponsored by Wiley-Blackwell, will be presented as a Life Achievement Award to a recognized scientist working in the field of atomic or molecular spectroscopy. It is an award of 1000 EUR.

Payling Prize sponsored by the European Working Group on Glow Discharge Spectroscopy (EW-GDS) and GD instrument manufacturers. It is a prize of 1000 EUR, which will be awarded during the CSI XXXVI – for the third time - to the presenter, preferably a young scientist, of the best oral or poster presentation on glow discharge research at the EW-GDS session.

Springer Poster Awards will be presented by Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry to three young scientists (up to 35 years of age) in recognition of their excellent presentations on an innovative research. These awards are vouchers of 200 EUR value towards the purchase of any books published by Springer Verlag.

Elsevier Poster Awards, sponsored by Elsevier, will be presented to two prominent young scientists authoring poster works. These awards consist of one year free subscription to the international scientific journal Spectrochimica Acta Part B.

ICP Information Newsletter Poster Awards will also be presented up to three young authors of posters. These awards consist of one year free subscription to the international scientific journal ICP Information Newsletter.

Royal Society of Chemistry Poster Awards will be presented by JAAS and Analyst to the authors of the best poster on atomic spectrometry and general analytical science respectively. These awards consist of one years free print subscription to the relevant journal.
